It’s an authentic Thai restaurant. You walk in and the scent of basil and seasoned veggies fills your nose. You see large platters being carried around as the generously seasoned food calls you to attention. I had the Thai pork fried rice, my wife tom yum and Pad Thai. These two Thai staples are what we use to judge before branching out. They were each so savory and delicious. Made with love.

Amazing Thai Lunch Experience at Sip Saam Thai I had lunch at Sip Saam Thai, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I started with their unsweetened iced tea, which came in a huge mason jar and was absolutely refreshing. I asked to served it with honey on the side, and adding a little honey made it taste so smooth and delicious , a simple but perfect touch. For the main course, I ordered the Eggplant Stir Fry with Chicken and the Yellow Curry with Chicken (both served with rice). Both dishes were outstanding...The eggplant stir fry looked beautiful with its vibrant color, and the taste was even better ... flavorful, well cooked, and perfectly balanced. The yellow curry with chicken was also delicious, with rich flavors and a wonderful aroma that paired perfectly with the rice. Great food, generous portions, and excellent flavors. A perfect Thai cuisine spot that I would definitely recommend and visit again

This might have to be my favorite Thai spots in San Antonio, TX! We ordered some Hot Sake to help us mellow out from all the traffic, and to help us vibe with the awesome setting. My friend that I invited had the Eggplant, and I had the Yellow Curry Chicken. Both of the flavor profiles and the presentation of our dishes were superb. We kept a the spice level to a minimum because Thai spice goes hard!The service offered was great! We really appreciate the server for informing us about our dish selection and offering is some chilled water. We will definitely be going back to try out the rest of the menu.

Have to say, I was very surprised. Food, service, prices were all very good. Ordered a bit too much, but wanted to try out a few dishes. Papaya salad was amazing, although ny #8 spicy might have been a bit too much, but I endured, the spring rolls were so good too! Took home my drunken noodles but tasted good! On my list and hope to be back soon!

We died here on a late night, looking for something to eat. Most of our party enjoyed their food. I recommend the pad Thai (don’t get shrimp), the salmon fried rice, and tamarind shrimp appetizer. I don’t recommend the calamari, the curry lamb, or adding shrimp to any entrée. The fried shrimp appetizer tasted better than the shrimp that was added to the rice and noodle dishes. The shrimp added to the entrée items, taste like they had a funny solution on them. It left a sour taste, I removed mine from the dish. I think a 4/5 spice level is plenty for a mild heat, if you want medium heat 6/7, if you like spicy get 10. The server was nice and friendly. This is a low-key place off of the beaded path from all of the downtown attractions, but they do have a paid parking lot next to the restaurant. Overall, if you’re looking for some good Thai food in the area and don’t want to travel too far from the city-center hotel. This is a good place to check out. But there is plenty of good food near city center.
